It's showtime . . . . .

So I finished my animatic for VD2. I'm not proud of it. I could of done allot better but due to personal problems I didn't. I got a Distinction for it, but I could of gotten a High Distinction.

Due to popular trend here I am posting my animatic for the whole world to see. It probably wont make sense to allot of you but it will when I finish the machinima.

A name has also been given. My animatic is now known as "402".

***** ANGRY RANT!! I JUST LOADED THE DAMN THING FOR NEARLY OVER AN HOUR AND THEN IT JUST DISAPEARED!! NOT HAPPY!! I'LL RE TRY LATER. GRRRRR *****

It finally hit me . . . .

Miss X will now be refered to as Angela. I don't really know why but I think the name is fitting. Not that it really matters. No one talks to her and she doesn't say her own name, but all the same to make her more real she must have a name.

So Angela it is.

As for a title of my machinima I've been going over a few in my head. Some of these are:

"Baby, It's You"

"Coffepot"

and

"The End"

As you can see they are quite abstract names. Thats how I want it. I don't want some lame name like "Angela's Adventures" or "Scream-a-thon 2000". Those names may not make sense now but soon they will.

I'm just annoyed I have to re-do all of my storyboards for my animatic just because I made her pregnant. This might set me back a little bit there.

It's getting there.

And so it begins . . . .

Here at chanimation I, Chani am going to be making my very first machinima.

Over the course of this project I shall be blogging my progress for all to see and to keep a record of all my doings.

So far a basic outline for the story has been created (but not named) and first drawings of the main character (also not named) have come to life. When i get around to cleaning it up a little bit I shall post them.

The overall feel of my machinima will be a combination of comedy, suspence and thriller/horror (depending on how much gore I get around to making) in the style of film noir. I going to try and keep sequences low key and of course all in black and white. Although I have been thinking about having certain items in vibrant colors, “Sin City” style. It will be all very 1950's, I'm yet to decide wether it will be placed in America or Australia yet.

The machinima centers around the main character, for now I'll just call her "Miss X" until I figure out something more suiting. Miss X wakes up and hears a woman screaming. The machinima will follow her until she finds the source of the screaming. Along the way many unfortunate events occur which dampen her spirits and in turn she gives up on trying to find the screaming woman. Little does she know that she will find the source of the screaming anyway.

I'm not sure if I want to outline the whole entire story just yet. I want it still to be a surprise for people when they watch it.
